(1) System Requirements
Ensure that the computer has sufficient performance. It is recommended to use an Intel i5 11th generation or higher processor and 8 to 16GB of memory to meet the resource requirements of large 3D software.
(2) SimPro Main Program Installation
Find the downloaded installation file, right-click the executable file and run it as an administrator.
Read and agree to the software usage agreement in the pop-up window.
Click “Install” as instructed. During the installation, you can select the installation path. Generally, the default is C drive until the installation is complete.
(3) VcLicenseServer Installation Find the corresponding license server installation file, right-click and run it as an administrator.
Use the default settings and click [Next] continuously until you see the [Finish] button to complete the installation.

Make sure that “Show hidden items” is checked in the computer’s viewing settings so that you can find the authorization file that needs to be replaced.
Copy the received authorization file and replace the lservrc.dat file. After the replacement is completed, restart the computer. If you need the authorization file, you can reply to simpro in the background to get more information.
When asked about the license type, select “My organization uses a network floating license server.”
Enter the local IP address “127.0.0.1” and the port “5093”, and continue to complete the authorization according to the prompts.
Authorization is successful, click Finish - Software Settings
Open SimPro software.
Select File-Options-Attachments and enable all options.
After selecting Enable, select Network Floating License for the authorization license type and click Next.
Set the IP to “127.0.0.1” and the port to “5093” to ensure that the software can connect to the license server correctly.
Make sure all AddOn components are enabled, which provide additional functionality.
