Get to know the functions of each button of the teaching pendant smartPAD
① Pull out the teaching pendant button: a button used to unplug the teaching pendant smartPAD, which can be removed when the robot system is connected. ② Key switch: The main function is to call up the connection manager. Only when the key is inserted can the switch be turned. The robot’s operating mode can be pre-selected through the [Connection Manager] window.
③ Emergency stop button: used to shut down the robot in dangerous situations. When the emergency stop button is pressed, it will lock automatically.
④ 3D mouse: a space mouse, used to manually move the robot. ⑤ Movement key: positive and negative direction movement key from axis 1 to axis 6, used to manually control the mobile robot.
⑥ Program magnification key: a key used to set the program magnification, which can increase or decrease the robot set speed in the program.
⑦ Manual magnification key: a key used to set the manual magnification, which can increase or decrease the speed of the manually controlled mobile robot.
⑧ Main menu button: This button can be used to display menu items on the teach pendant smartPAD operation interface.
⑨ Process button: The process button is mainly used to set parameters in the process package. Its exact function depends on the installed process package.

① ③ ⑤ Confirmation: The confirmation switch has 3 positions: not pressed; middle position; fully pressed. In robot operation mode T1 or T2, the confirmation switch must be kept in the middle position before the robot can be started. In automatic operation mode and external automatic operation mode, the confirmation switch does not work.
②【Start】button: Use the 【Start】button to start a program.
④USB interface: This interface is used for archiving, restoring and other operations, and the USB disk format must be FAT32.
⑥Model nameplate: The model nameplate is used to mark the model name and number of the teaching pendant smartPAD.
